Our Team | Rick Busby

RICK BUSBY

Owner

Rick Busby grew up on a farm outside of the small town of Hephzibah, Georgia, and graduated from Hephzibah High School in 1977. He attended Georgia Southern College and began working full-time for the family business in 1979, after spending years as a summer helper. Rick worked his way through the company from sales, service manager, warehouse, office, Vice President, and became President in 2004. Rick is married to his wife Tammy of 36 years and has two daughters and two grandchildren. Rick enjoys hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He is also a published author and speaker.

MARK CROWE

General Manager | Installations Manager

Mark is originally from Dallas, Georgia where he retired as principal of North Paulding High School. He attended West Georgia College for his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and Nova Southeastern University where he obtained his doctorate in Educational Leadership and Supervision. He started with Busby’s as the Installation Manager and is now serving as the General Manager. He is glad to call Augusta his new home and loves working with the team at Busby’s.  Mark has two adult children and is excited to be a new grandfather. In his spare time, Mark enjoys tennis, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

TORY BRADLEY

Service Manager

Tory grew up in Augusta and joined the Busby’s team in 2016. He started in our install department as a helper, and shortly after he went to the maintenance department, from there, he went into the service department and earned his NATE certification. In 2019, Tory was promoted to Service Manager. Tory has two boys, ages 27 and 18, in his free time, he enjoys riding off-road motorcycles and saltwater fishing.

SYDNEY WING

Financial Administrator

Sydney was born in Okinawa, Japan and lived in various places before her family settled in South Georgia. She has an undergraduate degree in Business from Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, and graduated from Augusta University with a Masters of Business Administration in 2016. She joined the Busby’s Team that same year. Sydney is married to her husband Jonathan of 20 years and in her spare time enjoys playing with her dog and reading.

JEFF ASSELIN

Recruiting and Training Manager

Jeff graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.  He has 20+ years of experience in customer service, recruiting, training and sales & marketing.  Jeff and his wife Margie were married in 2002 and have 3 children: Nicholas, Jordan and Lucas. Jeff and his family attend Stevens Creek Church, they love to travel and cheerfully volunteer with many organizations in the area.

Jack Herzberg

Warehouse Manager

Jack is from Augusta and graduated from Richmond Academy. He currently resides in Graniteville, SC, with his wife, Taylor, and three children. In his free time, Jack enjoys landscaping, photography, and spending time with his family.

TRACY DURAND

Comfort Consultant

Tracy graduated from Westside High School in 1981 and Augusta State University in 1986. Tracy joined the Busby Team in 1989 and enjoys baseball, football, and golf. He and his wife Michelle met in middle school and have three children: Brooke, Heath, and Tanner.

ANTHONY ADKINS

Comfort Consultant

Anthony grew up in North Augusta and graduated from North Augusta High School in 1992 and U S C Aiken in 1998. Anthony is married to his wife Catie and has two children Tripp and Eva. He enjoys golf, the beach, the lake, and spending time with family and friends in his spare time.

Chris Williams

Comfort Consultant

Christopher Williams is married to Jennifer and has 2 children, Bradley, age 22, and Samantha, age 13. His hobbies include Bar-B-Queuing, cooking, camping, traveling, and spending time with family.

Dwayne Horne

Commercial Sales Consultant

Dwayne graduated from Richmond Academy and Augusta Tech. He rejoined the company in 2007 as a service technician. Currently he serves as the Commercial Sales Consultant. He’s married to Jess and they have 4 children. He enjoys riding motorcycles and the outdoors.
