Busby's Heating & Air Conditioning is proud to announce a new partnership between Busby’s Cares and Golden Harvest Food Bank to help fight food insecurity across the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA).

As part of the initiative, Busby's Cares will donate 25 meals for every HVAC checkup completed in 2026. Through this effort, routine heating and cooling maintenance will directly translate into meals for families, seniors, and children facing hunger in our community.

“Busby’s Cares is rooted in our purpose of improving the quality of life for our team, our community, and our customers,” said Kristen Munn, President of Busby’s Heating & Air Conditioning. "By tying every HVAC checkup to 25 meals, our customers become part of something bigger – helping us bring comfort not just into homes, but onto tables across our community."

Golden Harvest Food Bank serves communities throughout Georgia and South Carolina by distributing food throughout a network of partner agencies and hunger-relief programs. This partnership allows Busby’s customers to make a measurable impact simply by maintaining their home comfort systems.

In addition to the meal donation initiative, the Busby's team plans to support Golden Harvest through volunteer efforts and ongoing community awareness campaigns throughout the year.

This partnership reflects Busby’s long-standing commitment to community involvement. Through Busby’s Cares, the company continues to extend its mission beyond heating and cooling – striving to improve the quality of life throughout the CSRA.

March in Motion: Supporting The RECing Crew through Busby's Cares

At Busby's, each month our Busby's Cares initiative is an opportunity to highlight organizations that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. In March, we were proud to partner with The RECing Crew, a local nonprofit bringing joy, connection, and opportunity to individuals with disabilities across the CSRA.

Founded by families and friends of individuals with disabilities, The RECing Crew was built on a simple but powerful idea: everyone deserves access to fun, enriching recreational experiences. With over 200 participants ranging in age from 6 to 88, their programs create opportunities for people of all abilities to stay active, build friendships, and explore new interests.

Their wide range of offerings includes: Art programs, ballet, jazz, and tap dance, chorus and music, MMA, boxing, Karate, jazzercise, recreational sports, baseball leagues, social clubs and group activities.

One of the most impactful aspects of The RECing Crew's mission is their commitment to affordability. By keeping program costs low, they ensure that more families can participate without financial barriers. That's where community support plays an important role. Through our March donation matching campaign, Busby's Cares helped amplify every dollar given up to an additional $2,000. Those donations directly support operational costs, equipment, and resources that keep these programs running strong.

February marked a milestone moment for our Busby's Cares initiative, one that showcased the power of community, collaboration, and shared purpose. We had the honor of spotlighting Mad Hatter Farm, an incredible local organization dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for individuals with special needs.

Mad Hatter Farm is more than just a farm… inspired by and in memory of their daughter Cassie, it's a place where people of all abilities are empowered to grow, learn, and thrive. Their work fills a vital gap in the community as the only handicap-accessible farm and animal sanctuary in the CSRA.

What made February especially memorable was how quickly this campaign grew beyond what we imagined. As part of our commitment, Busby’s Cares pledged to match donations up to $2,000. But the momentum didn’t stop there. Inspired by the cause, Maxwell's Plumbing and Drain stepped forward with an incredible offer to match our match - contributing an additional $2,000 once our original match was met.

With the support of our community, $4,000 was raised for Mad Hatter Farm. Thanks to the combined matching efforts, that amount was doubled, resulting in an incredible $8,000 total impact. February’s campaign was a perfect example of what we envisioned when we launched Busby's Cares. It's not just about giving; it's about creating a ripple effect of generosity that spreads throughout our community.

We're incredibly thankful to everyone who contributed, shared, and supported this effort. And a special thank you to Maxwell's Plumbing and Drain for stepping up and helping take this campaign to the next level.

You Gave, Busby's Gave. Reflecting on our January Spotlight

This past January, through our Busby’s Cares initiative, we were proud to spotlight an organization making a difference in our community: Child Enrichment. For decades, Child Enrichment has served as a lifeline for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or trafficking. Their mission to provide intervention, advocacy, and prevention services has helped protect children and guide them toward healing and hope.

Through programs like their Child Advocacy Center and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), they have ensured that every child had a voice and access to the care, support, and resources they needed. These essential services have been provided free of charge, made possible by the generosity of donors and community partners.

Through our donation matching campaign, every dollar given to Child Enrichment went twice as far. Busby’s proudly matched donations up to a total of $2,000, amplifying the generosity of everyone who participated.

Child Enrichment has served thousands of children across the CSRA, helping them navigate difficult circumstances and find hope again. The support shown in January helped continue that mission by providing safe spaces, advocacy, and resources for children who needed it most.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gave during this campaign. While January’s campaign has ended, the need for support continues. If you’d still like to make a difference, you can learn more or contribute by visiting their website:

Sixteen years in the heating and appliance business have taught an Augusta, Georgia, Coleman dealer a thing or two about promotions and advertising. The first rule is that advertising and promotional effort should be year-round

activities. Another is that all promotion effort should reflect the character of the dealer. A third point: Nothing beats a good trade-in promotion.

A small mountain of junk heaters and furnaces at the rear of Busby’s Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Augusta is pretty good evidence that owner J.C. Busby knows what he is talking about.

              Both Buyer and Seller Benefit

A trade-in deal on heating equipment makes sense to both buyer and seller, Busby contends. The trade-in allowance takes care of the down payment, and the buyer gets a better heated home.

The seller gets a unit that may be reconditioned and sold or dismantled and the parts put aside for eventual resale. There is even some scrap value in the unused metal.

So successful have trade-ins been for the enterprising Georgian that it has become a continuing program. Advertising in local newspapers and over radio stations has made Augustans aware that Busby will always consider a trade-in.

Of course, there are times of the year when the trade-in promotion gets extra push. Experience has taught the Georgia Coleman dealer that July and August is the time to emphasize floor furnaces and central heating. Air conditioning comes in for extra attention in the late spring.

             Stresses No Down Payment

“We found the big appeal in trade-in advertising is to stress ‘no down payment,’” Busby says.

“This is particularly important to the floor furnace prospect. It also appeals to the small homeowner who would like to step up from a floor furnace to central heating.”

Although Busby does little price advertising, he will sometimes show a picture of a furnace and beneath it the line:

“As low as $xxx, with automatic controls and complete installation.”

Naturally, the price figure refers to a small furnace. Is this misleading advertising? No, says Busby.

“The public has become accustomed to the phrase ‘as low as’ and recognizes the seller is pricing the low end of the line. Besides, we make it quite clear to him that we won’t quote a final price until we have surveyed his house and have determined what it will take to make him comfortable.”

When it comes to premiums for closing sales, the Georgian thinks there is nothing better than a Coleman outing product.

“Everyone down our way knows about Coleman lanterns and camp stoves. The offer of a free lantern, camp stove, jug or cooler may be just what it takes to close the sale.”

In order to support his four salesmen, a trained heating and air conditioning engineer, and a well-equipped and staffed shop, Busby is a consistent user of newspaper advertising and radio time. He draws up his own ads and writes his own radio script.

When paid advertising doesn’t bring in enough phone calls, the sales force resorts to cold canvassing.

Direct mail also plays a part in Busby’s promotional activity.

While the replacement and modernization market is the big revenue producer, Busby goes after new construction business, too.

Already well established in the field, Busby recently completed arrangements with Bowles-Boardman, Inc., Augusta home builders, for 100 central heating systems to be installed in a new subdivision. Each system is being prepared for air conditioning and, sooner or later, Busby expects to put the air conditioning in the Bowles-Boardman houses.

Another Bowles-Boardman subdivision, Fernwood, went Coleman even to Coleman gas-lites for street lighting.

Busby’s has one of the largest stocks of furnaces, packaged heating, ducts, and fittings in their trade area and is equipped to fabricate large commercial as well as residential jobs. The firm also services Coleman mobile home heating and air conditioning equipment.

On March 18, 2025, Busby's Heating and Air Conditioning held its 33rd Annual Employee Appreciation and Awards Banquet. Owner, Rick Busby and other managers recognized top performers in each department. Awards were also given for safety, years of service, attendance and sales excellence. Each employee who attended (and their "plus-one") enjoyed a fabulous buffet and dessert from Moe's Southwestern Grill and each received a logo'd duffel bag and numerous door prizes. 2025 represents Busby's 80th year of serving the community. Kristen Munn, Rick's youngest daughter, recently became the company's President. Kristen helped celebrate 2024 wins and accomplishments and spoke about her high hopes for the company and its employees in the years to come.

Celebrating 80 Years in Business and Welcoming a New President, 3rd Generation Kristen Munn

Busby's Heating & Air Conditioning proudly marks its 80th anniversary in 2025, and with it, a momentous milestone in the company's history—Kristen Munn, Rick Busby’s daughter, has been named the new President, and is the third generation of leadership.

JC Busby, Rick's father founded Busby's shortly after World War II in Millen, Georgia. The company has since grown into a trusted name in the heating and air conditioning industry.

Over the past eight decades, Busby's has continually expanded its services, introduced new products, and built a reputation for exceptional customer service. The company has also become a pillar of the Augusta community, supporting various local charities and service organizations.

Kristen Munn began her career at Busby's over 15 years ago, starting from the ground up as a summer intern. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Business Management from Georgia College & State University, Kristen took on various roles at Busby's, as well as, making key contributions to upgrade the company’s technology.

Kristen later accepted an opportunity to work as an implementation coach with Nexstar, where she assisted HVAC and plumbing companies across the United States, Australia, and Canada. While at Nexstar, Kristen earned a promotion to Business Coach where she worked directly with owners and General Managers helping them reach their business goals.

Kristen recently decided to return to her roots and step into the role of President and future owner of Busby's Heating & AC. Her return to Augusta, alongside her husband Shane and their dogs Boone and Daisy, is a moment of great excitement for Rick, and his wife Tammy, her sister, Lauren and the entire Busby's team. Welcome Home, Kristen and Shane.

"I'm so excited and privileged to be on the path to third-generation ownership of Busby's. It's not just about keeping the business in the family, but also about building on what was started and making it my own for the future." Kristen Busby Munn commented on her new position.

"It is comforting to know that our company will remain a family-owned business for the third generation and for many years to come. I am so excited to have Kristen take over the realm as President" stated Rick Busby.

While much has changed since 1945, the core values that Busby's was built upon—quality, integrity, honesty, and customer satisfaction—remain unchanged. CEO Rick Busby reflects, “These four pillars were the foundation of my father's success, and they will continue to guide our company for many years to come. We remain dedicated to providing the same quality workmanship, reliable service, and customer care that have set us apart since day one."

As part of The Busby's Cares Community Contribution initiative, on March 9, 2023, Rick Busby with Busby's Heating and Air presented cancer survivor Ann Jones with a $2000 check on behalf of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS). Ann has been nominated as a candidate for the LLS Visionary of The Year campaign.

In September of 2020, Ann was diagnosed with Leukemia. Help from LLS's research and patient support enabled Ann to participate in a trial chemo drug study resulting in her entering into remission quickly. Without the help from LLS, this would not have been possible.

Ann wants to help bring awareness of the effects cancer has on the mental health of patients, caregivers, spouses, survivors, family members, and friends. Those wishing to support Ann and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society can visit Ann’s campaign page:

On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, Rick Busby with Busby's Heating and Air presented the Family YMCA of Greater Augusta with a $1000 check as part of The Busby's Cares Community Contribution initiative. This contribution was made to assist the Y with its annual fundraising campaign.

The Y operates more than 50 locations in eight counties across Georgia and South Carolina, including 9 health and wellness facilities, a Child Development Academy, Camp Lakeside (a 100-acre camp in Lincolnton), 27 Primetime After School sites and 19 summer camp locations throughout the CSRA.

No one is turned away from the Y for their inability to pay. Each year, the Y gives out $2 million in scholarships to those in need.

These scholarships allow more kids to attend camp, provide the opportunity for more families to become members, and gives more youth a safe place to go before and after regular school hours.

Different grade levels from Blythe Elementary will visit the aquarium on March 3rd, 10th and 17th of this year. The school applied for and received three (3) Sponsored Education Admissions (SEA) Grants from The Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta which will cover admissions tickets for all students and employees. Due to county bus driver shortages and the trips extending beyond regular school hours, Blythe Elementary was required to hire charter buses costing $14,400. Donations have also been received from other local businesses and families but the school needs approximately $2900 to finish covering the cost of transportation. Donations are greatly appreciated and may be sent to:

Due to government changes coming in 2023 – equipment manufactured in 2022 cannot be installed after December 31st of this year. Manufacturers are already cutting off production on some 2022 models causing more shortages and a predicted price increase for next year of 15-20%! If you or anyone you know needs a new system – now is the time!

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF)– Busby’s Heating & Air is celebrating a man’s 65 year career. It’s the longest career anyone has had with the company.

His name is W.E. Eubanks. W.E. stands for William Ezra, but W.E.’s coworkers say his initials could just as easily stand for work ethic.

“When you go into something, you’re going to learn every day. Learn all you can and do what you can to advance yourself,” W.E. said.

W.E. has been a dedicated employee of Busby’s Heating & Air since 1958.

“W.E came the year before I was born. So he has known me since I have been alive. My entire life,” president and owner of Busby’s Heating & Air, Rick Busby said.

Technology has changed during W.E.’s time on the job, but he’s never let his profession pass him by.

“It’s always different so it comes around and you learn something every day. It’s not like you’ve done this forever and you think, ‘Well, I ain’t going to learn nothing else.’ You do learn,” W.E. said.

“I’ve watched him outwork some people in his 80’s that were in their 20’s because of his dedication and just how much he cares,” Busby added.

In a world where employers are struggling with staffing, W.E.’s career stands out. His craftsmanship in the sheet metal shop especially stands out. So much so that the shop is dedicated to him.

“Anything that you can imagine, if it can be made out of sheet metal, W.E. can make it,” Busby said.

Once he’s ready to retire, W.E. says he’ll take his hobby with him.

“I know I will,” W.E. said. “I think about it when I’m at home.”

His career is six and a half decades in the making, and he works with a team who says they all look up to him.

“If you didn’t like where you were working, you wouldn’t have stayed there,” W.E. said.

Importance of Proper Air Flow in Your Home

As a homeowner, there are a few key things you must keep an eye on to ensure the health of both you and your home. One of these elements is the airflow, which is the ventilation of your home. Having proper airflow in your home helps to rid moisture, smoke, cooking odors, and indoor pollutants. Airflow impacts your attic’s ability to hold heat and moderates the dampness in basements and crawl spaces to help keep moisture out of uninsulated walls. Blocked air flow can cause damage, so it is important to keep an eye on signs that your home may not have proper airflow.

           Condensation

Condensation can be one of the most apparent signs of improper airflow. Condensation is created when the air reaches a point where it can’t hold moisture due to temperature changes, so this moisture migrates to the coldest surfaces possible. These surfaces are commonly your windows, walls, and behind furniture. If left unchecked, the dampness caused by condensation can seep into your walls. This can cause your wallpaper to peel and could even lead to the threat of black mold. High areas of condensation include your bathroom, especially due to shower use, and kitchen, due to cooking. In your living space, moisture can cause damage to your furniture over time. If you notice moisture getting trapped in your home, it is important to take steps to improve the airflow of these areas.

           Risks to Your Health

The repercussions of dealing with improper airflow can cause issues not only to your home but your health as well. Damp and mold can trigger asthma. Dust mites love the conditions caused by improper airflow. When they get on your skin or are inhaled, dust mites can trigger issues such as asthma, eczema, watery eyes, itching, sneezing, and runny nose. This lack of airflow can also elevate seasonal allergies such as hay fever due to pollens in the air traveling into your home and becoming trapped. Mold can also cause irritation of your eyes, nose, and throat. It can cause headaches, fevers, and even lead to immune system issues. Long exposure can lead to respiratory damage. These issues can impact everyone in the home, including your pets.

           What to Do

It’s important to pay attention to areas in your home where you’ve noticed signs of improper airflow. Areas such as your kitchen and bathroom tend to need more proper airflow. You’ll also want to make sure that all your vents are unblocked. Commonly, furniture or rugs could be covering a vent, and this can lead to airflow issues. If you feel like you’re experiencing issues caused by improper airflow, it’s important to find a qualified professional who can help solidify the issues. It is important to do so sooner rather than later. The risks to your home due to improper airflow can lead to more costly repairs down the line. You also want to consider the health of you, your family, and your pets.

Common Signs That Your Electrical System Needs Updating

Depending on where you live, the homes in your neighborhood could be less than ten years old or older than 100. This leads to a variety of factors to consider when it comes to updating your electrical system. Depending on the age of your home, you may want to consider taking this step sooner rather than later. A much older home will likely have a simplistic system. When you think about how drastically our electrical demands have increased in just the past ten years, it is easy to see why your system may need some sprucing up.

           What Should I Look for?

When it comes to determining if your electrical system needs updating, there are a few key elements in your home to pay attention to. These include:

Power strips, extension cords, and your outlets.

If you look around your home or office and realize you have a jumble of power strips or extension cords, this is a good sign that your need outweighs what your current system can supply. It’s easy to overload these systems. It can also lead to potentially hazardous situations if you use power strips and electrical cords together. It’s essentially a messy solution to what really needs to be done.

               Lights dimming or flickering.

While not as obvious as completely blowing a circuit, your lights or appliances dimming can be a sign of too much power being used. For example, if your kitchen lights dim when you turn on the microwave, this can be a sign that your kitchen circuit is no longer up to the task of powering so many different appliances at once. If you notice lights flickering, pay attention to if it is one light or multiple. You could simply have bad wiring in one spot, or it could be a sign of a larger electrical issue.

              Circuit Breakers.

When a circuit breaker blows, it can be one of the most common and most obvious signs that your electrical system needs updating. For example, if you find yourself losing power to your bathroom every time you turn on your blow dryer, this is a clear indication that the individual circuit is no longer up to the task. That circuit could be replaced with one of a greater capacity, but only if the wiring can support that increase in power. If you are in an older home, this is an update that you will likely face to bring your system up to speed with the needs of the modern world. You’ll want an experienced professional to help determine what steps need to be taken.

           Your Next Steps

If you are tired of dealing with power cords, flickering lights, or even the dreaded tripping of your circuit breaker, it may be time to call in backup. A qualified electrician or contractor will be able to come in and assess the real needs of your home. This could be a simple fix or a more detailed overhaul of your electrical system. They will also understand all the safety protocols that need to be in place. Faulty electrical work can lead to numerous dangers in your home. It is best to do it the right way first and trust a professional.

Preventing Problems in Your Attic

Many of us don’t spend a lot of time in our attics. In fact, we may think little of them outside of storing the holiday decorations. While we don’t often utilize our attic, potential problems there could impact the quality of your life throughout the rest of your home. These problems can lead to allergens in your home. They can also affect the temperatures of your home, leading to potentially higher energy bills. Therefore, it is essential to keep an eye out for minor issues in the attic to avoid them becoming larger, more costly issues.

           Common Attic Problems

It is recommended that you check over your attic at least twice a year. The best time to do so is in the spring and fall. The potential issues vary but are usually caused by one or two factors that can easily be cared for by a professional. These issues include:

             Drafts

. If you notice a draft in your home, you’ll want to start your investigation in your attic first. Often, problems in the attic will trickle down into the rest of your home, so it is best to start at the top and work your way down. A draft can drive up the cost of your energy bill. In addition, you’ll want to check for unusual temperature changes and cold spots.

             Moisture.

Accumulation of moisture is typical in cold temperatures, so it’s imperative to check for this specific issue after the long winter months. However, it isn’t just weather — household appliances can also cause moisture. Humidifiers, washing machines, dishwashers, showers, and other appliances all release moisture into the air. Even if these appliances are in different places of the home, the moisture can still travel up and become trapped.

             Poor Ventilation.

Proper ventilation increases energy efficiency in your home. You’ll want to make sure that your air vents, attic fans, or roof vents are free of any debris or damage.

             Pests.

These unwelcome guests can find different ways into your home. They are often in search of a secluded, warm place to stay. The primary issue with pests is the potentially dangerous germs that they carry on their skin and in their excrement. In addition, pest droppings can get into vents, leading to potential allergies or other respiratory issues for you and your family.

           How Do These Problems Arise?

When it comes to most of these problems, there is one place to start — your insulation. The quality of your insulation can be impacted by various factors, such as the age of the insulation, the presence of pests, and potential ice damage. Poor insulation can result in mold and mildew. Uneven insulation can lead to drafts or improper airflow. Gaps in your insulation can provide the perfect amount of room for pests to sneak in.

           What Can I Do?

It is important to remember to give your attic a look over at least twice a year. This will help you to notice any changes that weren’t there on your previous inspection. Listen for chirping, squeaking, and scratching to catch any potential pest problems. Walk around to feel any areas where the temperature changes or areas where you notice moisture buildup. If you see any of these issues, you’ll want to find a trusted professional to ensure that your problems are properly dealt with. A professional will know exactly how much insulation you need and how to balance the coverage of that insulation. They will also know how to handle any pests or damage best. When it comes to preventing attic problems, all you need is a diligent eye and a professional’s help when issues are found.

What You Can Do for Honeybee Awareness Day

National Honeybee Awareness Day is on August 15th this year, which means it’s time to remind everyone of those cute little pollinators that are so important to our ecosystem! If you have been wondering how you can play a part in saving the bees this year, and every year, here are some helpful tips to get you started.

           Feed the Bees

To get more honeybees doing what they are supposed to in your hometown, you can provide them with lots of good, safe food and water! Make sure to support those who are making an effort to be safe and mindful of the bees.

           Bee Gardens

The great thing about bee gardens is that you can plant them wherever you are: apartment balcony, community garden, or your backyard garden — plant pollen-producing flowers like pansies, peonies, or lavender. The more local plants you use, the better, as bees in your area thrive more off the plants they are already used to in your area. Use organic soil and avoid using harmful chemicals and pesticides; these will kill the bees!

If you have a larger yard to plant on, you can also plant flowering trees. Tree blossoms provide a vast food source for the bees and are especially useful if you have a large population around your home.

           Drinking Fountains

Bees need a safe place to stop and get a drink of water, too. There are all kinds of cute bee drinking fountain ideas out there, and they are effortless to make. You can fill a dish with water, then toss in stones, sticks, cork, or anything that would be safe for bees to land on to get a sip. Without something to land on, bees will probably drown in the water.

           Buy Local and Organic

Supporting your local organic farmers and buying from the farmer’s market in your area is an excellent way to promote farms that do not use harmful pesticides. The most widely used pesticides also kill bees, which is a significant problem for food production. Any little bit of encouragement to stop the use of those nasty pesticides helps!

           Give Them a Home

How do you get thriving bee colonies to stay? Well, you build nice homes and nice places to stay, of course! Depending on the bee species you have in your area, you can use several different strategies to help the bees set up camp.

           Build a Bee Hotel

One of the biggest reasons bee populations are dwindling is the loss of habitats. We can combat this by providing bee hotels along with our gardens to encourage solitary species to stay. These can be simple to make, like a coffee can filled with small tubes or anything that has a lot of nooks and crannies to nest in. You can find plenty of ideas to make a more complicated piece to match your garden or just some basic hotels made from items you may have lying around.

           Allot Some Land

If you are someone with a large backyard or plentiful acres of land, then one of the best things you can do for the bees is allotting a section of an undisturbed area for them to use. Many bees make their homes on untouched land. This is an excellent option if you have the space to do it. You can place the hotels you made in this space, so they stay around for a while.

           Support Your Local Beekeepers

Buying from your local beekeepers can help in multiple ways. When you buy directly from the source, you can ensure that these bee farms are using ethical practices to care for their bees. On top of that, buying from local farmers ensures that the profits go directly to their farm rather than through big-name grocery stores.

           Local Honey

Local honey is a great buy and should be purchased from the beekeepers directly. Honey from an everyday grocery store is usually processed, contains extra additives, and often does not provide much profit to the bee farms that made it. Fresh, local honey is not only beneficial to the economy but also your health. Local honey is thought to help combat seasonal allergies since the bees that make it has processed the pollen for you.

           Beeswax Products

In addition to honey, some bee farms make all kinds of great beeswax products. These can include soaps, candles, skincare, and more. Using these products help make sure that ethical bee farms can stay open, keep saving the bees, and providing you with organic beeswax products.

           Be Active, Tell Your Friends

Once you have tried all these options and maybe even mastered them, go out and tell everyone you know why Honeybee Awareness Day is so important!

           Post Your Support

Social media is probably the best and most versatile way to broadcast your support for a cause. Use your platforms to share information with your followers and follow organizations that are making an effort to save the bees. You can use social media to keep yourself and others up to date on events and opportunities to help your bee community.

If you feel so inclined, you can also start your fundraiser to donate to organizations that help this cause. Facebook, for example, makes this super easy. You can post a fundraiser for a specific organization with a goal amount on your page, and your friends can contribute any amount they like. If the opportunity arises, do not hesitate to throw a fundraiser party, too. Invite your friends to the lovely bee garden that you have created and help fund the saving of the bees.
