Our History
The Solid Foundation on which Busby's is Built
In 1945 my Dad opened what is now Busby's, Inc. Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Millen, Georgia. At that time electrical appliances were becoming widely available and electricity was making its debut in rural Georgia.
The company, then known as Tri-County Appliance Company, served Jenkins, Screven, and Burke counties. We sold and installed home appliances, house wiring, electrical water pumps, oil floor furnaces and central heating furnaces.
Operations later moved to Waynesboro and then to Augusta, adding to our lines window air conditioners, floor furnaces, and central heating and air conditioning. For over 30 years we dealt exclusively in heating, air conditioning, commercial refrigeration and ventilation. In 2004 we added a division for replacement windows and doors that now includes vinyl siding installation as well.
We have enjoyed a reputation as The Professionals through the years, as well as a company of honesty and integrity, which was the essence of my fathers success. We continue to be dedicated to the type of quality workmanship, reliable service, and customer satisfaction that distinguished our company from the beginning.

Although we realize perfection is impossible it will always be our ultimate goal.
